The Climate Reality Project Northern Virginia Chapter “Ferocious Felines” team raised $5,323.41, exceeding their goal of $5,000, for the Chesapeake Climate Action Network (CCAN) Keep Winter Cold Polar Plunge. In addition to supporting CCAN, funds will be used to support Fairfax County’s Get2Green initiative at Centre Ridge Elementary School. Video of the event can be seen on the chapter web site.
